Just a few minutes walk to the square of Beaminster, (Emminster, in Hardy's novel), a famous old town with its eclectic mix of small individual shops, pubs and cafes, a delight to stroll around with over two hundred listed stone buildings. Two really good restaurants, The Brasserie at The Bridge House Hotel and Wild Garlic, with Mat Follas, Masterchef. Quigley is just 7 miles from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and West Bay, a great spot to walk the South West Coastpath, and we are just 5 miles from the bustling market town of Bridport and an easy 30 minute drive to Lyme Regis.
